Mischa McMorris

Mischa McMorris is the founder of Planted Press Publishing. Mischa's journey into publications is unique. As the published author of "He Will Turn Your Sadness Into Joy: 365 Devotional on Grief and Loss," she wrote the devotional during mortuary school while working with families. After securing a publisher for her first book, Mischa decided she wanted to create more writings where she could also help others who ideas align with Planted—so she launched Planted Press Publishing in February 2023.

Mischa named Planted Press Publishing from watching a botanist press a plant for archival preservation and study. She believes writing holds the same power—writings should be preserved for archival records to study, reflect, entertain, educate, inform and most importantly to ENCOURAGE!
