Heart disease is currently the leading cause of death worldwide. It’s important to build a consistent awareness of heart health and its function.


Matters of the heart is a holistic approach. A holistic approach that focuses on the body, mind, and spirit.

Physical Body | Cardio Health

There is a vast amount of information on the digital web today for cardio health. This information ranges from proper eating, exercising regimens, adequate rest, and routine health check-ups.


As cardio health focuses on the strength of one’s heart, for “most” people, incorporating doable physical activities, eating healthy foods, and creating healthier daily habits can assist one with heart health.


It's important to acknowledge one's congenital development or unexpected life circumstances can also affect heart health.


Primary healthcare , scholarly research and educational material, and the overall desire to care for oneself are steps we take to live a healthy life.


Assessing  and establishing a “realistic” routine for our “individual” cardio needs is imperative.

Mind | Mental, Emotional, & Social Well-being

While tending to our physical health needs is important, our mental, emotional, and social wellbeing also plays a vital role in heart health.


Consistent life challenges, unexpected circumstances, and lack of resources can affect anyone’s health. Such circumstances can lead to depression, anxiety, stress, and other psychological and emotional behaviors.


These behaviors sometimes lead individuals to heart issues and other physical derailments.


Creating a consistent mental and emotional well-being space is essential. It’s also imperative to surround yourself with individuals who believe in their mental and emotional well-being and yours (vice-versa).


Spirit | In Good Faith

One’s faith can change the course of one’s outcome, even if the results are not ideal or expected.


Although logic or a comprehensive understanding of things is necessary, through faith, we should trust our experiences, circumstances, and life challenges will bring us where we need to be.


Matters of The Heart

The heart is the most important muscle in the body. It influences the entire body's mobility. We must tend to the matters of the heart, not only from a physical perspective but a holistic view – mind, body, and spirit.


The heart matters.
